There are boat excursions, golf courses, numerous hiking trails, and fishing in pristine rivers nearby. New London is six miles away with excellent restaurants, fine shopping and summer theatre.
Other attractions within a 45 minute drive include the Shaker Villages in Enfield and Canterbury, Dartmouth College and Medical Center, and Saint Gaudens National Historic Site.

The Dartmouth- Sunapee Region
Located just off Route 114 within 2.5 miles of exit 10 on Interstate 89, The Village House at Sutton Mills is within minutes of a wide variety of recreational areas, great shopping, historic landmarks and places and renowned Colby Sawyer College. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing is available in the winter at close-by Mt. Sunapee ski area.
In the spring, summer and fall months, enjoy the golf courses, tennis courts, boat excursions, lakes, hiking, and fishing. Ten minutes away is New London, offering summer theater, excellent restaurants, wonderful antiques and shopping.
